BSNL Broadband offers 8 Mbps speed from 1st November 2017

bsnl-broadband-offers-8-mbps-speed-from-1st-november-2017Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) has decided to upgrade Broadband speed to 8 Mbps or 10 Mbps at no additional cost for all the Broadband customers on PAN-India Basis from 1st November 2017. This is another major service offering from BSNL for the benefits of customers after Unlimited calls, data for 3 Month in Rs. 429, free incoming roaming services for its mobile customers and offering free night calling from BSNL landline to all operator network from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM. With this upgradation, BSNL customers can access / surf the internet including social network websites like Facebook, Google, Twitter, etc. at high speed.
Last time BSNL redefined Internet speed was in 2015 when it made 2 Mbps as the minimum broadband download speed for all of their broadband plans. The news becomes viral, and BSNL is rumoured to have attracted a new generation of Internet users due to this standardisation of Internet speed. Now BSNL Experience Unlimited Broadband 249 offers speed upto 8 Mbps till 5 GB, upto 1 Mbps beyond 5 GB while BSNL BBG Combo ULD 675 plan will offers upto 10 Mbps till 10 GB, upto 2 Mbps beyond.

In order to offer ‘upto 10 Mbps’ & upto 8 Mbps’ initial download speed (subject to technical feasibility) across all the DSL/FTTH Broadband plans [PAN India/Circle Specific (except A&N circle)] with FMC ≥ Rs. 675/- & FMC < Rs.675 respectively, across all the DSL/FTTH Broadband plans (PAN India / Circle Specific), which are currently being offered to the customers in different circles/PAN India basis.
